Yulia Shtutman (b. 1991) is a self-taught artist who primarily works with ink and watercolor, with some experience in oils and digital art. She draws inspiration from diverse sources such as the work of Northern Renaissance masters, early 20th century surrealist, as well as the watercolor and illustration traditions of her native country of Russia, where she first began to study art as a young girl.  Yulia's  work walks the line between reality and fantasy, incorporating decorative and illustrative elements into realistic environments. Her work is driven by stories, hinted at within each image, and developed through their collection.
